Career
Most recently I've been contracting with Amazon Games Studio for 11 months as a contract sound designer. There I was brought on to work on The Grand Tour Game, with Alistair Hirst and Kevin Salchert. My responsibilities on the projects we're owning the video integration pipeline, and making the transition from video to game play as seamless as possible. I also handled all of the UI integration for the project in Lumberyards Lua Editor as well as mastering the VO across 2 seasons for the project. I learned a lot of new skills out side of sound design such as the Bink Video codec, how to automate batch video encoding with 5.1 sound, and gained some more in-depth knowledge of video codecs and the differences between them. As well I created a tool for dynamic video compression, that optimizes the compression ratio used per video.
Before working at Amazon Games Studio I was contracting with Harebrained Schemes as a Voice Recordings Editor for BattleTech. Cutting recording sessions down to individual files. Automating a naming system and doing some light post processing to help with intelligibility.

About Me
I've grown up on the west coast, mostly in the North West, in Olympia and now Redmond Washington. I've played saxophone since I was 9 and video games since I was 7 (playstation 1). Both of these key parts of my life are what have led me to being a Sound Designer for Games.
Having graduated, April 2017, from DigiPen Institute of Technology with a
Bachelor of Arts in Music and Sound Design. While at DigiPen I worked on over 30 different Game and Animation projects as Sound Designer and Audio Implementor, working with Wwise and Fmod as well in Unity and Unreal. I record as much audio from scratch as possible and fill my free time with bettering my recording skills.
Outside of work as a Sound Designer, I enjoy learning about programming and participating in Game Jams. I've created primitive space invaders in PureData, which you can download and play! As well as a game titled DuckBread I made in Unity with art from a friend during the first Seattle Indies Game Jam.
Send me your high score and I'll add it to the score board below!
